A great meeting! Where did all those Chevrons come from?
It's great to see
real racing cars being driven as their makers intended - Lotus Cortinas on three wheels.....
......and the noise!
The only disappointment was Stirling Moss not being able to make it - I've waited the best part of 50 years to see Moss in a 250F!
Hope I don't have to wait another 50.....
Most amusing moment of the weekend was the look on the face of the Tojeiro Bristol driver who pulled off at Foulstons complaining of lack of oil pressure when I pointed to the black line all the way from Island to Shell & said: 'There's your oil'!
