Alex RACED on European F3000! He did it during 1999 (where it was called Formula 3000 Italia) on team Monaco Motorsport, and his best result was a 2nd place in Donington, a race with many abandons and around 14 cars in the starting grid. On this same moment he raced for the International F3000 team of Monaco after Thomas Biagi left the team because the poor performances of the team.
About Felipe Massa... please let him on Draco Racing for one more year. Draco waits to new chassis regulation and it's VERY possible they decided go back to F3000 for 2002 (also if Massa will win the championship, they won the right to enter to F3000 in 2002!), and if that will confirms it's also so probably they want to stay with Massa as first driver, but on F3000. The first year (a training year) will not be so successful, but it's better that Felipe can stay with Draco on the International F3000 on 2002. With that, he will be converted to another Brazilian successful driver who debuts in F3000 with Draco: Marco Campos in 1995, Ricardo Zonta in 1996, and Bruno Junqueira in 1998.
