I had Mr Joseland down on my very short list, and the other person I had in mind is John Ryder. He had some amazing experiences as a child including being flown to Brooklands at age 8 by his father in the ex Amy Johnson DH Moth aeroplane named Jason. Proper Boys Own stuff.
