Thinking about this - and I am just throwing this out - is it possible that CC wants to have Silly Season rumors to keep going until just before the first race?
Who's gonna race? What teams will be on the grid? Where are the drivers from? You gotta admit - all of this adds a lot of drama, anticipation, buildup, and excitement before Long Beach!
