US SuperKarter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
World SuperKart Challenge

Hello everyone,

This is the Old Fart guys in the USA. This just in from JR Clausen, the World SuperKarts are going to be at Willow Springs in September to compete for a five figure purse and be seen on Speedvision. Details below:

This just in from Willow Springs International Raceway:

The World SuperKart Challenge has been invited to run during the AMA Super Bike race weekend at WSIR, September 14-16th, 2001. J.R. Clasen has been asked to organize the WSKC portion of the weekends activities and has agreed to do so. Practice and qualifying will be held on Friday the 14th, and racing will follow on Saturday the 15th. The Speed Vision film crew from the AMA side of the event will also shoot and televise the WSKC racing action on Saturday afternoon. Clasen says that although the deal for the purse has not been finalized yet but he is confident the fund will reach five
figures.

WORLD SUPER KART CHALLENGE
Comes to Willow Springs International Raceway

The World Super Kart Challenge has been invited to participate at the AMA Super Bike Event at WSIR the weekend of September 14, 2002. The WSKC will practice and qualify on Friday the 14th and race on Saturday afternoon at the 'New Streets of Willow' facility following the earlier AMA activities at Big Willow. This will allow the Speed Vision crew time to set up and shoot all the races on Saturday afternoon. Footage from these races will be aired on Speed Vision very soon after the event. It is reported that teams will be vying for a five figure purse which will no doubt step up the level of competition.

Cost per entry is $150.00 and includes practice and race days as well as two crew passes.
