I probably said that bit wrong. I know damper's don't control the amount of weight transfer, I was referring the the speed of load transfer during braking, turn in, mid corner and exit and how it can be used to tune the car in transient conditions (especially if your playing with roll centre heights and changing the amount of instant load transfer through the suspension arms etc).

I assume he means a ratio of 1.5-3 for compression:rebound, not C/Cr, or else he must be doing something wrong, or using cement instead of oil.
