Tony_Simpson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi all,

I have raced in the series for a few years now, and if you are under 75 kg with all kit on then you have space to put lead to get you to the 75kg. I'm about 70kg when with out lead, so put a few on to get me to 75 now. There are rumers of some people who are 10st or uner 60 kg's and have to put the lead on the kart to get them up to 75kg.

FOr the heavy weights you have to weigh 80kg minuimum (with helmet, suit) without lead, but then put lead on to get you to 85 kg minimum. There is also a new series to be run inside the heavy weights for drivers over 90kg I think.

To be honest a few kg's over will not harm you, as 2 of the top 3 in last yers championship are close to 80kg, and are now planning on racing in the heavies this year.

Every driver in the top 3 of a heat is weighed, and every body in the A final get weighed regardless of class, and people have been thrown out for being half a kg under.

Hope that helps.
