You must mean the discussions about changing all the rules in the favor of Audi right?
Not putting Audi on the initial list can be declared in lots of very sensible ways, but in fact it is something like the ACO showing to the world: "hey, look, we didn't invite Audi in the first place, but had to make up our minds...
