The FIA ammended the tyre rule by crossing out three words-"to each team",so we can assume that all the teams will have a choice of only two compounds.
So in answer to your question,No i don't think it will give the Bridgestone runners an advantage,and yes,Flavio's request has been answered.
It would not do either the tyre supplier or F1 any good if were seen to be favouring the handling characteristics of one car.
Here's to a closer F1 season in 2007,even if when they do get close,they can't get passed.
