Goodies for Surfers are pretty good too - shirts, hat, poster (looking at it now) and various other bits and pieces. Sandwiches (keeping them cool can be a problem) and a dodgy breakfast roll from McDonalds. Lots of water and ice provided during the day.

Plenty of down time between races, during which you'll want a long lens and a view upwards...

How are you getting to the track? Depending on where you're coming from, buses didn't seem to start up until after sign on but were useful for the return journey. Parking is limited and not necessarily close to sign on, plus if you're coming from the South you've got to fight through the traffic jams on the way back.

You may have covered all of this, but if you want any more info, PM me with your e-mail address and a list of questions. Have lots of fun, they do look after you well. And a bunch of names in case anyone says 'we had a Pom with us last year':

Wendy and John, Darren, Ron, Barb, Josh, Mario. Say hi, if you meet any of them.
