Racesport should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lola 290 HU4: I have seen this car racing in Mugello at the 1 Historic Festival last month.
I know the history:
1972 first owner, Bonnier who probably sold it to an italian unknown driver (probably Facetti);
1974 the car was owned by Mr Sergio Mingotti
1976 the car was owned by Mr Bono (Sicily)
then Bono sold, on 1978, the car to Mr. Paganucci who fitted the Tecno 3.0 Flat 12 engine. Paganucci ran in Italian Hillclimbs between 1979-1987.
Paganucci sold to Giancarlo Ferri in 1988.
Giancarlo Feri sold to Lorenzo Prandina on 1999; Lorenzo is the actual owner and restored the car with the Tecno engine.
An extensive article was published on "AutoItalia" Magazine, issue 128, February 2007.
