I won't dispute the claim that the Datsun is one of the best sports cars in the World and perhaps the over priced Chev powered Commodore would cop a thrashing around any track you could mention.
And yes, if someone is willing to part with a large amount of cash to supply, not just one car, but a fleet for on and off track use by the Black Wiggle Crew, then so be it.
But the list of Manufacturers that have declined is getting longer each year. The commercial advantages of the deal offered seems to be an offer too easy to refuse. Perhaps we'll see the Tata Nano out there next year.
