Most things in this world go in cycles. I doubt the ALMS is on a perpetual decline. Consistent? I can't say. Since 2008 there has been a loss of entries and with that prestige in the prototypes. By the same token, GT2 has grown and continues to look promising. If that is consistent decline, then yes, the ALMS is in a consistent decline currently. Also, 2008 was the peak for the series to this point in my opinion, and I'm sure many share that opinion. Where the ALMS will be in the future, I have no idea.
