Here is a great insight to the 906.

The key dimensions are bulkhead to each axle centre line and widths over axles.

The fact the 906 is the same dimensionally is perfect, but the bulkhead is key.
The 917 has a smaller wheelbase I thnk than the Lola, about 90''.The seating position of the 917 is way too far forward.

Of all the bodies around, the 906 is the best so far.
There are others, the Retoga bike engined car which I think is too small.

The 904 is too long a wheel base.
