There's no reason to assume any of the GT1 spec cars will not run for 12 hours without issue. Matech also did no simulated testing in preparation for Le Mans.

Assigning way to much power to Mr. Hindhaugh! Many share the thought that an engine designed to run for 2 to 3 hours will have trouble in an endurance format running 10+ hours.
