Another reason for the interest in the period is that we were running in the same series against the likes of Homewood, Calcutt etc. Driver Mike Scott (most recently running a Gropa Mk1 RJB Thundersports and now Orwell Supersports) in an 850 Special Saloon Mini (Candy) - diagonal metallic purple, metallic green and silver stripes with metallic black roof. If you ever saw it - you would remember it!!
