A successful first outing for the new series with 20 cars entered (unfortunately Ian Everett didn't make the start in his lovely Abbot Racing Saab as a drive shaft broke in practice).
There was a good mix of cars from a Ferrari 355 to some MX5s and there were some good battles both for the lead and through the classes. Littman and Clark won in their Boxster by just 5.5 secs from Smith and Moulton-Smith in a BMW.
Honourable mentions should go to Tom Pughe and his team who changed an engine in the MX5 between Practice and the race (having driven to Essex to collect it) and then won their class!
It would be great to get a few more cars out, particularly in the smaller engined classes - MX5s, Toyota MR2 (Mk1s & Mk 2 turbos perhaps), Ginetta G20s etc
