The Granta is based on the updated Kalina, which is based on the Dacia logan. I'm not guessing. They all use the M0 Renault platform.

Hence I don't think we'll see Renault or Nissan in the WTCC as Lada is already here.
The knowledge and technology could be shared, it's exactly what Renault and Nissan are doing with the Alpine and Nissan brands on LeMans.
