Auto racing grew from 4% in 1989 to 10% in 2002.IN 2007 it had 10%, and declined to the current 7%.
The social groups with most auto racing fans are rural, earn less than US% 35.000 a year, and finished high school or less, with 11-12% each. Only 3% of post grads and college graduates are auto racing fans.
