Nordic should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

The XJR 14 and Merc did practice in 91 but never took the start, The jag set a time of 3.31 (compared to the pug's 3.35 best)

As GFJ says the Peugeot's did get down to 3.21 in 92 which compares to the 3.22 that claimed pole last year, so I am pretty sure given a committed driver, good tyre's and a no expense spared approach, then a last generation Group C could be faster than a 2013 car.

It would look a dam sight better and sound pretty good as well.

I do find it hard to watch the Group C retro races, If you saw them in period I think you would understand why. Still look amazing, but they don't often look like there is much pace. Can fully understand why and appreciate the efforts the drivers and owners make, but its not the same.
