Which in itself is uninformed which makes things worse. If you were a journalist a bit of research would tell you that Triple 8 have a contract with Holden til end of 2021 and the Commodore itself is a eligible car for the series until end of that year at very least. Even if Holden wrap things up by end of this year they’re not going to pull the contract with Triple 8 because theoretically (and realistically) it’d cost them more to do that rather then leaving the contract to run its course.
Apart from WAU who’ve said they won’t race the Commodore next year I don’t expect much change from the Commodore runners in 2021 except if someone does a Kelly and switched to Mustang. Which with the uncertainty surrounding 2022 onwards doesn’t make a lot of sense. At the moment anyway.
Heck even Penske staying beyond 2021 has a question mark over it-and rightly so.
