Tambay is the son of ex-F1 driver Patrick Tambay, background in single-seaters, DTM and sportscars.
Maris and d'Ansembourg are a couple of gentleman amateurs in their mid-late 50s, usually seen running some
very nice cars (Group C XJR-14 and Pug 905 amongst others
) in historics, although Maris has been around the ELMS in recent years and has a few LM starts behind him. I think both Tambay and d'Ansembourg are Le Mans rookies- it's certainly not a line-up I'd expect to be anywhere near the pointy end of LMP2...
