A bit more on this one, he was a Spitfire pilot in WW2 and spent time as a POW in Lubeck.
After the war he raced Alta's, Rouen in !947, He became she in 1951 and continued racing in Alta's, She also held the Ladies Hill record at Shelsley Walsh, 1972 saw her last race in the Kitchener-Mclaren at Rufforth, a F5000 race. She also owned a DH Mosquito during the late 50's.
