No prizes for guessing Russell gets Bottas seat in 2022, and the 2nd to DannyR (if they want one experienced driver) or Lando (2 young fast talents) when Lulu looks for new challenge at end of this or next season.
Im a huge Dan Fan but Norris and Russell pushing each other in the best cars would be a great competition. And Merc like to lock in drivers for long term rather than 1 or 2 years, by taking those 2 "young guns" they could have the same line up for many years.

I don’t think Mercedes would be looking at a driver who gets lapped by his teammate or one in the last few years of his F1 career.
