I think it's more than a minor setback. While they are somewhat mitigated by the length of the race, but Albuquerque probably has both of these in mind:
- more likely to be caught up in early incidents in the pack
- being held up by slightly slower (and hence much harder to overtake) fellow LMP2s
The latter, given how close LMP2 is, is going to be key for all of the top teams in the class.
