One other thing I've noticed and I'm not sure what the rules say about this, but the splitter leading edge is not straight in plan view, unlike with every LMP/DPi car. This is another thing that made LMPs unattractive and blunt looking. This one is curved. Those following Formula1 will know that as of 2017 the F1 regs mandated that front wing's leading edge must have a particular < shape in plan view, instead of the traditional [ which simply maximised the bodywork within the allowed "box".

I only stood (and touched, rather gleefully!) next to an old 908 and the early Penske RS-Spyder (the one with huge lights). They didn't feel tiny. Perhaps because because of how low they were, especially the Porsche, they seemed imposingly long and wide.
