Race Result

I really enjoyed the race and found the tyre strategies intriguing. It turned out that the option tyre was the better option. I was great there was only one FCY, which meant uninterrupted racing and the race could naturally unfold.

CGR qualified poorly but turned it around with a great call, which brought Dixon in for that stop after the first lap incident, plus Palou finishing in the top 10.

I've got to feel sorry for Graham Rahal, after all that It must be galling coming second.

Penske got Power and Scotty Mac into the top 10 finishers, but that's got to be a race Josef Newgarden would rather forget about, as any hope of winning the driver's title dwindles.

Arrows McLaren were there in the mix, with O'Ward 3rd and last year's winner Rossi in 5th but the team have been unable to get a win all season.
