I've been following it very closly since the teaser pop up on the konami site a couple of weeks ago and downloaded the 12 minute trailer the minute it was available.
The time when it's actually set is still up for debate at the moment as Solid Snake was not 'born' until the 70's. Remember of course that Kojima is a master of deception so you shouldn't take anything you of the game at face value.
What ever happens I'm really excitied as I loved MGS1 and 2.
P.s. Also check out the konami site for details on the MGS1 remake currently being made for the Gamecube, unfortuneatly I've got to buy one now!
