Excellent images mike, and thanks for the additional interpritation.
I only noticed the extension were atteched to the endplates on the dallara . There was an image ove on DSC of just the rear bodywork cover, and it clearly showed the extensions attached to the endplates, as you could also see the rear wing attached to the car in the background. However i will agree the on the audi they look to be attached to the wing.
Interesting to note lister using the same idea too.
