They ran hillclimbs there back in the 90's (and before), but I believe that noise was an issue - so silent downhill running may be looked on favourable, and Lord Bath is a bit of a character to say the least, anything that may help his estate break even would be looked on favourably, I'm sure.

Just out of interest - we have been hilclimbing at Longleat for the last 8 years!! Normally one weekend in September a double header. great hill, fantastic atmosphere, good viewing and notoriously slippery!
