imull has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Chris Flavell in the Historic Imp uses a Kaylan type material on the underside of the imp for forest rallying.

I havent looked into but I would worry that it is a bit flexible for a sump guard. I would guess it is great at spreading the load on a floor pan though...
