The relevant wording is Section 5.2 on Page 9 of the Regulations
If the intention is to allow Pre '90 cars then a change to the Regulations will be required, provided the MSA will permit this.
Incidentally I also note these regulations allow +0.02 rebore on an FF1600 engine. I was surprised to see this as it has been phased out of Classic FF1600 Regulations, and of course isn't legal for mainstream FF1600 engines. |
You are quite right - which is why early this morning after seeing this topic I informed the Coordinator of the series and our Pre 90 Rep that the BARC (not our Classic FF1600 Club - we do not write these documents) had got it wrong and we needed the corrections sorted out ASAP.
This series allows all Pre 90 FF1600's - just like it did last year when two different RF89's (John Loebell and Ben Mitchell) won races.
(After my FA73 the RF89 is my favourite FF1600)
