A very confusing game then.
I don't think a lack of downforce was the cause of the accidents. Of course it may have helped Rockenfeller with more grip, but ultimately he went off because he was pushing too hard in the conditions (maybe he would have gone off at a higher speed with more downforce!
). The other Audi went out because a wheel came off, I don't see how downforce would have helped here.
