The 908 also initially used a front end like the old 908 where the air flowed into/through the front suspension that was abandoned after Sebring. It guess that it might depend on areo or cooling requirements. But both the Audi and Pug solutions were based on the '03 Bentley GTP cars, and it seems that Audi will stick with it (at least for now) with the R18 and that Toyota is interested in testing such a system.

I guess that the advantage with the Audi nose is that air flows above/below the front diffuser to increase downforce and have a more direct path to the sidepods, but the disadvantage is increased drag and potentially risking more debris getting into the radiator intakes (though Audi and Peugeot have/had removable screens, and even the closed Lolas did--I'd suspect that the TS030 might have something similar).

Also, could the TS030 use the BHH just by changing louver panels--they seem to be detachable.
