As for stand-down time, it all depends on the numbers who turn up. If you are flagging on your own then make sure you let your Post Chief or IO know that you are alone and arrange some sort of cover for loo breaks / cup of tea etc. It can be quite a good opportunity to get the Post Chief working for once!
