I've been going to Le Mans since 1986 and in that time I've heard some incredible sounding cars. As the years have passed, the cars have generally got quieter. For the sake of something else to discuss with a few weeks to go, what do you think were (are) the best sounding cars you've witnessed at Le Mans? (And this isn't intended as a vehicle to discuss whether the noise made by the 787B was sublime or ridiculous...
).
I'll start. In no particular order -
- Toyota TS010
- McLaren F1
- Peugeot 905
- Matra (any Matra really.....)
