That's a good point for the aspiring 'gentleman' driver to bear in mind. Entry lists are littered with the names of drivers who never got to drive the car they were entered in. I thiunk it likely that most contracts will make it clear that even though you've paid up front, you might not get to drive the car until a certain time, and if its already out by then, your payment is 100% non-returnable.......
