They’re not good financially at the moment but everyone’s waiting to see if the DBX sells. Hopefully it does well for everyone’s sake. If it wasn’t for the DBX there wouldn’t be much hope at all.
The Valkeyrie won’t save the company but it’s sold out and is a guaranteed earner for the company so that’s a good thing in the short term. The Valkeyrie will race regardless of Aston’s sales. The likes of R Motorsport don’t depend on Aston for sponsorship so they can go it alone if need be. Do you really think Aston is putting a cent into the R Motorsport DTM project? More like the other way around.
