I have to say I like the idea of test sessions during the race weekend as it can be very difficult to ge the time to go testing during the week for many amateurs. But is still sounds pretty poor value when compared to the deals available to really popular series eg Sports 2000. Was recently told their entry fee which was for a 30 min warm up, 30 min practise and 20 min race was £200.
