In June the target figure was still 750 hp, and before that the previous figure was 700 + 271 (ice+hybrid, and when hybrid was still mandatory). Has there been another recent change which nobody seems to have reported or what part of this I'm not getting? Is that extra power for BoP insurance & durability?

The comment regarding the engines is likely in reference to a regulation change that derailed Glickenhaus’ plans to have the 007 powered by an Alfa Romeo engine.
