We've gone five years without rain on race day for this event so thats definitely true!

I don't think I went on the Friday in '08 - did it last for as long as the 2005 storm did? That had been going on for most of the day as well, lets not forget! (I couldn't forget anyway - got absolutely soaked after realising I'd left my mobile phone in my tent!)
