IIRC they did have a dedicated team member doing just that! I forget who it was now but he was solely concentrating on the GTE teams both Pro and Am. Obviously there will always be a heavy bias toward the premier LMP race but the GTE's were definitely not forgotten.
Still the N24 and Spa 24hrs are due soon for all GT fans to get their own fix without the prototypes getting all the limelight!
