ascarracinguk will be along in a minute and he will have a better idea than i, but:

If you are starting out, you will have to factor in a startup cost which will be kart, parts, tools, safety gear, transport, licence etc.

Then add entry fees, tyres, damage every month.

I would say that you'd be looking around the £5000 mark. Anybody care to correct me?
