apologies if this has already been done but has anyone yet mentioned club100? i entered the endurance series this year which consists of 40min practice, 10min qual, 2hr15min race for the grand total of £450. 11 rounds in the season and full grids of 32 teams at every event (most teams have 2-3 drivers). you can also enter the sprint (15 lap) races on the sundays too (not sure about costs).
its got to be the cheapest way to learn the tracks and gain racecraft possible, and if you want to then go off and do something seriously competitive you can then go off and do that once you've confirmed that your ability matches your ego
