Ascari? Lexus LF-A? Actual Corvette and Aston Martin? Ferrari/Porsche/Audi ?

mmm
the same Autosport article suggests that Richards would prefer a single GT2-based category, but Aston would offer a GT1 car if there was enough demand (my speculation- an upgrade kit for the GT2 Vantage, similar to Ferrari's proposal for the 430?), and that Porsche remain strongly opposed to the whole concept....

Autosport are also saying that the Spa 24 hours will be part of the Pro-Am GT2 series, rather than the GT1 World Championship...but the GT1 series will run a pair of 1-hour races on the Sunday afternoon, after the finish of the 24 hrs... So a major 24-hour race with over 50 years of history is going to be a support race for a couple of 1-hour GT1 sprints
