Yes, I suppose because we now have Petrol AND Diesel cars, then for the ACO to go the "exclusive suppliers" route it is not as financially limiting because they can now sign 2 fuel deals, not just 1.

Shell provides both the Race Petrol and Diesel fuels to the ACO and FIA events.
In the US Sunoco provides the Fuel to ALMS, NASCAR and most other race series.
