Let’s repeat what we’ve said before:
The teams doing better are those who have a better handle on their cars.
And those that have realised how you do well with this rule set. It ain’t about absolute performance it is about being as close to that as often as you can. Toyota have that nailed with experience. Ferrari’s testing got its closest. Porsche not so much. Peugeot not so much!
But there are calls for it after every session. Something the ACO has been critised about before. If they’d reacted after Sebring then they’d need to rein that back a little from we’ve seen here so far.
And we know they aren’t touching it for a bit. Which is a good approach.
