Yes, I know that some of you will say that this has nothing to do with racing, but Helio Castroneves winning the immensely popular ballroom dancing "reality show" can be a tremendous boost for the sport. It's great to see an IndyCar driver celebrated by a mainstream audience, and in large part it was his personality that captivated them. It gets an IndyCar star noticed by millions of people who wouldn't normally watch a race, and I'm sure that at least a few will tune in next year to watch him just because of it.
Anything that gets a driver positive mainstream press is good, in my book. Well done, Helio!
