Subaru is out of the question now, a dry sump kit is a staggering £2600.
So, back to the 911 range.
993's are available, 310 ish bhp on carbs.
£3500 for a bare engine with twin plugs/head and other nice things.

Mrs Hillclimber is about 95% there...
