I suspect its got a lot to do with russian money.
russian drivers, businesses, sponsors, drivers and teams having assets invested in russian companies.....it will be an absolute spiders web trying to work out whats where and how much.
Trying to untangle this and firm up an entry list that can actually commit to the race....given that more sanctions on individuals and businesses are on the way could get messy.
....i guess we will soon see where the finances for racing is coming from in a few cases!
